5D turnkey immersive gaming experience with advanced virtual reality and custom digital avatars in a mobile structure. Multiplayer spatial tracking, 3D-modelled environment, haptic physical controls, physical heat, wind, and smell with 3D audio to bring you into the game.

The goal of this project was to create an innovative platform with cutting-edge immersive technology for the Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) industry. It offers a comprehensive multiplayer experience in a reactive digital-to-physical player space, seamlessly bridging the virtual and real worlds for a unique, tactile VR experience.
We created a comprehensive operational program for both software and hardware, fine-tuning the integration of avatars, digital interfaces, VR technology, and spatial sensors to ensure a seamless, engaging, and fully functional immersive gaming experience.

Multiplayer Experience
The two-player bays allow up to six users to experience an immersive 1:1 mapped digital-to-physical space. Each player can see the others, allowing for collaborative gameplay, a much higher level of immersion, and ultimately, enjoyment during the experience. The game was designed as a co-op style to create teamwork and encourage interaction between the players.
Immersive Experience
We built all aspects of this immersive game, from the 3D art assets to the fabricated seats each player starts sitting in. Mixing VR and the physical space instantly immersed each player transporting them to the cockpit of this space shuttle. The 1:1 mapped environment, 3D audio, and ability to see other players in the space were key elements to this success. We partnered with companies such as HTC, Ultraleap, and DTS Audio to incorporate the assets required to deliver on this goal.
Sensory & Spatial Technology
The experience space was built to affect all of the player’s senses. Features include infrared heat and air control, fragrance control, rumble floor, controls with haptic feedback, and self-actuating fold-flat seating. This is how we created the a one-of-a-kind 5D experience.
Operational Service
Onboarding players into this 1:1 mapped physical to virtual with interactive physical consoles required a behind-the-scenes digital interface control system for all the effects in the space. This allowed the technical operators to calibrate players into the game for efficient throughput and see each player’s view and quickly troubleshoot problems if they arose.
